I had some breathtaking views of a Barn Owl this afternoon as I was coming
across the Moss. It flew
over the field to the far side and then quartered the land looking for prey, very low and acrobatic. They really are wonderful to watch. It didn't come close enough for a decent photo but you can make it out toward the bottom right of the picture. This one had a lovely coppery glow across the wings contrasting with the pale body.
